An informational workshop was held within the Entrepreneurial Fund for Women in the municipality Žepče, which is part of USAID’s Marginalized Populations Support Activity.

The workshop was held on May 20, 2019, at the Development Agency Žepče, and the women who participated, i.e. future entrepreneurs, learned about how to fill out the business plan form, which is an integral part of the application to the Public call for funding and co-funding the best business plans written by marginalized women in this municipality.  The application process and technical details relevant to the Call were presented by the representative of the Žepče Development Agency.

Creating the Fund, with joint forces of USAID/PPMG and partners, provided opportunities for sustainable development of entrepreneurship of marginalized women, by encouraging self-employment, and improving and facilitating their participation in entrepreneurship, creating new jobs, and involving them in community life.

The public call for funding and co-funding the best business plans with joint funds of the Žepče Municipality and USAID/PPMG, intended to support entrepreneurship and self-employment of marginalized women from the Žepče municipality is open until June 13, 2019.

More about this public call is available on the website of the Žepče Municipality
